Julia Pagel (DE) BE MUSEUMER Project partner – NEMO Network of European Museum Organisations
Secretary general, NEMO, the Network of European Museum Organisations. Julia graduated with a master’s degree in Art History and Latin American Studies from Freie Universität Berlin in 2004. Before she started to work for NEMO, Julia worked at the Film Market for the Berlinale Film Festival and for a publishing company in the museums and library sector. From 2013-2017 Julia was member and Vice-President of the Executive Committee of Culture Action Europe. Since 2019 she is a member of the EU Commission expert group on Cultural Heritage. Julia has initiated and led various EU funded cooperation projects and she has edited several museum related publications.

Marjolein de Boer (NL) BE MUSEUMER Project partner – Academy of Cultural Management
Marjolein de Boer has been active in culture, entrepreneurship, fundraising and participation for years. As director of CJP, she was a board member of the European Youth Card Association. Since 2013 she leads the Academy for Cultural Management. She has been a cooperation partner in Be Museumer since 2018.

 

Bjorn Stenvers (NL) BE MUSEUMER Project partner – Academy of Cultural Management
Bjorn Stenvers is director of the Eye Care Foundation and a board member of ICOM, the International Council of Museums. Bjorn also works as a international consultant for museums in the field of heritage and marketing.

 

 

Lilia Iosilevich (NL) BE MUSEUMER Project partner – Academy of Cultural Management
Lilia Ioslevich is a project manager and creative strategist. She helps organizations with their branding, project management, communication strategy and more. Her focus is on cultural organizations both at home and abroad.

 

 

Alessandra Gariboldi (IT) Keynote speaker
Alessandra Gariboldi, President and Head of Transnational Projects of Fondazione Fitzcarraldo (IT). She’s senior researcher and consultant in the fields of visitor studies and cultural projects and policy evaluation, with a primary focus on promoting cultural participation. She’s been involved as an expert and trainer in several EU-funded cooperation projects and European Capitals of Culture.

Ana Trapaidze (GE) Speaker /BP Session
Founder of Museum of Environment Dighomi Meadows. Ana is biophysicist and environmentalist. since 2020 she is working on the protection of Tbilisi’s only surviving meadows. She founded the  “Open Air Museum of Environment Dighomi Meadows” with the goal to stop the destruction of Digomi meadows which is the only surviving floodplain forest in Tbilisi and has been severely damaged in recent years due to illegal activities.

 

Shirin Melikova (AZ) Speaker /BP Session
Dr. Shirin Melikova, Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Culture, has been the President of ICOM Azerbaijan and the Director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum since 2016. At the same time, she is the lecturer at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts.
Dr. Melikova regularly gives lectures in leading textile museums around the world, at international symposiums, and conferences. She is the author of more than 20 books – local and international scientific publications. As an art expert of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, she is among the organizers of several international exhibitions and festivals held both in Azerbaijan and abroad.
