Museum collection description: The museum occupies the building initially designed as the chancellery of the Imperial House of Romanovs. Pseudo-gothic in style, the construction was built in 1890 by the German architect-designer V. Shveyer. As a structural unit Borjomi Local History Museum has got four departments that are as follows: archaeological, historical-ethnographical, applied art and local landscape and nature departments. The visitor will see: Unique samples of bronze weaponry and adornment (II-I Millennia BC), large numismatic collection (V c BC –XX c AD), personal belongings of members of the House of Romanovs: basically European and oriental crockery, armory, painting and graphic works, coupled with several samples of natural wonder – a fossilized tree from Goderdzi Pass, etc.

Working hours: Everyday, except Monday, 10.00 – 18.00
Ticket price: Schoolchildren and students – 1 GEL., Adult – 3 GEL,  Guided tour – 15 GEL.
Free admission: Children up to age of 6; Georgian and Foreign Museum staff, ICOM members (cardholders with ID), people with disabilities (upon presentation of valid ID), refugees.
